Friends
Add your friends with your code or QR and find each other on the map during the festival.
Before you start
To have friends you need a verified account (we email you a code) and a public name, which is what your friends will see. Until you have both, the Friends screen shows you the steps left.
Setting your name the first time is free; after that it can only change once every 90 days.
Adding someone
The Friends screen shows your QR code and your friend code. There are three ways to connect:
- Show them your QR: they scan it with their phone’s camera and land straight on sending you a request.
- Or send them your link with “Share link” (WhatsApp, Telegram…).
- Or type their friend code (for example, PAU2026) and tap “Add”.
Tip: If that person had already sent you a request, adding their code accepts it.
Requests
Requests you receive show at the top of Friends, with “Accept” and “Decline”; the ones you sent, further down, with “Cancel”.
With the app open you will see a notice as soon as one arrives. To hear about them with the app closed too, turn on alerts (see the install guide).
Removing a friend
“Remove” ends the friendship at once: neither of you sees the other on the map any more. The other person gets no notice.
