Guide
The map and the timeline
Move the slider to see what is on at any time, filter by category and switch between map and list.
Opening a festival
The home screen shows the festivals on now and the upcoming ones. If you let Festa'm use your location, the nearest come first; otherwise, search for your town.
Tap a festival to open its programme on the map.
The time slider
The map only shows the events that are on at the time the slider marks: “On at 22:30”. Drag it and the pins appear and disappear instantly.
Above the slider, bars show how many events are on at each time: the tallest are the liveliest moments. Tap a bar to jump to that time.
Further up are the festival’s days. “Now” takes you back to the present, and a star marks the days with favourites.
The slider spans the whole day and opens at the current time: drag it back to see what happened earlier today.
“Range” turns it into a from–to with two handles: the map shows everything on at some moment between the two times (“On from 18:00 to 22:00”). Tap it again to go back to a single time.
Tip: An event from 23:00 to 2:00 stays on the map all that time, past midnight too.
Filters
The Filters button opens everything you can choose. Its number tells you how many filters are on, and “Clear filters” turns them all off at once.
- ★ Favourites: only the events you have starred.
- “Only what is visible”: the list and the count only include the events in the part of the map you are looking at.
- “Safety”: first aid, purple points, drinking water… if the festival has published them.
- Categories: concerts, correfocs, children’s activities… Pick one or several; “All” shows them all again.
Map or list
The Map | List switch changes the view. The list shows the chosen day by time: first what is already on, then each start time.
In Settings → Map you can choose which view a festival opens in and the map style: light, detailed or dark.
Each event
Tap a pin on the map or a row in the list to see the event: time, place and description. “More” opens its page, with “Directions”, the share button and “Report a problem”.
The locate-me button, under the zoom buttons, centres the map on you so you can see what is nearby.
