Installing Festa'm and turning on alerts
Festa'm is a website that installs like an app: no app stores and no heavy downloads.
Android and computers
In Chrome or Edge, the home screen offers “Install”. If it does not show, open the browser’s menu and look for “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
iPhone and iPad
- Open Festa'm in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Choose “Add to Home Screen”.
Alerts
Festa'm can alert you when someone sends you a friend request or accepts yours, even with the app closed. Turn them on in Friends → “Turn on alerts” (or in Settings) and allow the browser’s permission.
On iPhone and iPad, alerts only work once Festa'm is added to the Home Screen. If you blocked them once, allow them again in the browser’s settings for this site.
New versions
The app updates itself. If a new version comes out while you are using it, you will see “A new version of Festa'm is ready · Update”.
